The Samaritan’s Purse Apprentice Program trains and equips those seeking to begin a career in the ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. Apprentices who complete their training will be resilient professionals and future leaders, equipped to serve with excellence in all areas of our global team, providing spiritual and physical aid in Jesus’ Name.

The goal is to transition an apprentice to full-time employment as quickly as possible based on the requisite training needs of the position.

Is this a paid position? What additional expenses are covered?Every apprentice is paid a full-time salary and will be eligible for benefits. International apprentices’ flights in and out of their country of service, housing in the field, visas, and vaccinations will be covered.
When are apprenticeships available?Domestic apprentice opportunities will be available periodically and updated frequently on our website.
What does the selection process look like?Samaritan’s Purse campus relations team will review all applications and will conduct preliminary interviews with qualified applicants. They will recommend top candidates to department hiring managers and/or senior management teams in each country office, who may conduct further interviews to make the final selection.
What are the program qualifications?This program welcomes anyone who has completed an undergraduate or graduate degree to apply.
What kinds of academic backgrounds are you looking for?The Samaritan’s Purse Apprentice Program is available to all who have completed a bachelor degree or further in any major or concentration. Our international apprentice tracks include finance, program management, logistics/operations, and procurement. More tracks will be available soon.
Domestic apprentice opportunities include the following areas of study: communications, broadcast, information technology, security, and human resources.
Do I have to be a U.S. citizen to apply?No, we gladly accept applications from both U.S. and non-U.S. citizens.
